Dr. Thesing is board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He received a Bachelors from Marquette University and is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Thesing has built a thriving practice for over twenty years in Dayton, Ohio delivering babies and attending to the gynecologic needs of his patients throughout their lives. He partners with the patients to change their lifestyle to prevent disease and utilizing pharmacologic and minimally invasive surgical treatments as needed. he is happy to bring expertise in providing quality care to his patients in the office and hospital settings.

Dr. Thesing has multiple surgical skills including the da Vinci Robotic System, office endometrial ablations,  Minerva, Hyseroscopy with Myosure, pelvic floor therapies, Slings for stress urinary incontinence and Interstim for urinary urgency, frequency and urge incontinence.

Dr. Thesing and his wife, Melinda, have two songs, 22 and 24 years old and enjoy tennis, biking, hiking, music and cooking.

Dr. Thesing is thrilled to be joining the South Bay OBGYN group and he and his family are excited to live in sunny San Diego.

COVID-19 Update

With the new state of California Stay At Home Order, South Bay OBGYN continues to be open to take care of the needs of our patient’s.  To ensure the safety of not only our staff, but you as the patient too, we have equipped our office’s with PPE and we ask that all patient’s do their part to prevent the spread of COVID:

If you are positive or have been exposed to a positive person or have cold / flu symptoms, we will require that you have your appointment via TELEHEALTH. We continue to be open for all types of appointments, including TELEHEALTH as an alternative for those who would prefer to stay in the safety of their homes. Whether it’s a telephone call or an actual video chat, we want everyone to be comfortable and remain safe.
