Aiwei Wang, MD

Dr. Wang is Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  He received his medical degree and PhD from the Peking Union Medical College, Chinese Academy of Medical Science, Beijing, China.  He has been a member of SouthBay Obgyn Medical Group since 2005.

Dr. Wang further engaged in a postdoctoral Research Fellowship in the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology and Urology at Bringham and Womens’ Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston.  He completed a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in New England Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts and Nassua University Medical Center, Long Island, New York.

Dr. Wang has served as Chairman of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Paradise Valley Hospital.  He has been bestowed with Best OBGYN Research Presentation at NUMC, a Postdoctoral Fellowship by the Population Sciences of the Rockefeller Foundation, Surgery Research and Scientific Award by the Ministry of Health, People’s Republic of China.  Dr. Wang has multiple publications as first author.

His special interests include minimal invasive Gynecological Surgery including robotic assisted Laparoscopic procedure, Menopause and Infertility.  Dr. Wang resides in Carmel Valley, San Diego North County and he is fluent in English and Chinese/Mandarin.
