Fibroadenoma

A fibroadenoma is a firm, noncancerous tumor of a gland in the breast. It's round and painless, feels firm and rubbery, and can be easily moved around.

Fibroadenomas may occur as one lump or multiple lumps in the breast. They are most common around ages 20 to 40.

A breast biopsy is sometimes used to tell the difference between a fibroadenoma and breast cancer.
